Issue 49 . November 2021
October was a month of change for The Guide Artists and for Collector Masters, as we put all our knowledge and time into creating a place where artists can finally sell without commisions, and most importantly, have
their paintings – sculptures valued as they deserve. With just under a month to go before the release of the acclaimed “Issue 50”, we have taken stock of what I have created, or at least tried to create, knowing that while we are changing the art world, the most important thing is the artist’s word to make this step a reality. Thank you for the confidence that many artists have already placed in us, in this team of only two people, and that for those who do not know it today, the creation of a magazine only one person should applaud even more. I never wanted recognition, but I want my brand to be recognized and not be in constant competition with the vultures that buzz around me every month. These companies, galleries and organizations will never have our essence!
I have let my imagination run wild and come out of my skin on every number I have designed alone in front of my computer. I have tasted many coffees, listened to many songs, and if I had to look back, I could count more than a thousand emails I have written to each artist to interview them, send them information, or just give them a word of encouragement, advice, and motivation. Because yes, values are really lost with so much technology, but at the same time they bring many people from different countries of origin and languages closer together, because art will always have a universal language. I will undoubtedly follow many more editions and of course “The Guide Artists” and every project he creates will be the best an artist can have.
Because it is time to reflect in these times, we must continue to grow and evolve. Thanks to the many artists I talk to every day, I know that this is a motivation to continue. This is a set of good artists, good people who are like you and me, people who are not afraid of what lies ahead and who are naturally there to keep offering the best of themselves, they want to grow, to improve. Day after day and that they give them the opportunity to shine with their dream, the art.
November comes full of energy and sensitivity in paintings that are beautiful. From the cover with the talented Yvonne Heemskerk to artists of the caliber of Erik Van Elven, Jakob Johannsson and new emerging faces like Sandra Valls, Marc A. Duquette and Chantal Boso. November is a special month to find our best version, to reflect and give thanks for a year full of good moments, to continue contributing to the arts and, above all, to support the artists so that those of us who make this magazine a way of life are appreciated and, above all, respected. Let ́s begin!
