What is art?

Spring begins and with it new projects at work and in my life.

This morning I woke up thinking about some situations that happened to us last month.
To clear my doubts, I was looking for the definition of “art”.

Definition:
“Art (from the Latin ars) is the term that encompasses all creations made by people to express a sensitive vision about the world, whether real or imagined. Through plastic, linguistic, or sonic means, art enables the expression of ideas, feelings, perceptions, and sensations”

And by that definition, I thought, that’s what art means to me. I think art is much more than what people think… I see art everywhere, from the best painting, the best sculpture you can imagine, to a man on the street painting beautiful landscapes on tiles, to a mother singing a song to baby, watching my grandma sew or watching her cook is the greatest work of art I can imagine. What I am saying is that beauty in art is in the eye of the beholder. We have met many artists who we have told that we love them and that for us they are among the best in the world, and they do not like it or they do not believe it because they have already established in their minds who they are.

And I wonder if the beauty is in the eyes of those who look at them. I do not have to be guided by being told on the Internet or because they had more opportunities that these are the best artists in the world. Many of those who are considered the best artists in the world leave a lot to be desired as people, besides the fact that for some people they are not. So when people tell you that you are my favorite artist in the world, you should consider that, because to that person you certainly are, just as to us all the artists we have been with and talked to, even if they have not worked with us. Also, what makes an artist great is the education with which they treat people. Enough of the egos and arrogance that people are already tired of. We are in a difficult time to put up with such people in our lives. More empathy, camaraderie and humanity.
In all of this, I realize that I am becoming more passionate about art and the beauty of the world every day. That I let my 5 senses carry me along without being influenced by anything or anyone, and that is what sets our work apart from others. We are free to do what we want with our magazine, no one imposes anything on us and we are very happy about it, even if it does not enrich us.
We wish that this number will show you the beauty of authentic art. Let ́s begin!
