What is your biggest source of inspiration?

The news and issue that happens around us. The way people are in their mind.

When was the first moment you decided you wanted to be an artist?

On the day I started a full-time job.

Painting is your primary medium, but do you work in other mediums or explore other styles?

If you could work with another artist, who would it be? / who is your favorite artist?

Ron English. He gave me really good thought about being an artist.

Is there any particular music you tend to listen to while working?

Not likely now, but I like the pop rock from the 90s. At present, I listen to the news and sometime Buddhist teaching on Youtube.

I search for you. 2016. Oil on linen. 70 x 70 cm

What is your ideal day?

To be able to have work progress every day.

Can you tell us a bit about your process, from concept to creation?

I pick up topics from what I observe from present events and question them. Trying to find the truth and not believe in what had been said by others.

I always have a finished piece in my mind. Then do some rough sketch, research on characters and more about the particular topic and start to paint.

What’s one of your deepest values or most important topics to you, and how do you communicate that with your art?
